When: February 16-21
Cost: $750

Note: A PASSPORT IS ENCOURAGED FOR THIS TRIP, but not necessary if under age 19 (see below). Adults approved by Venture HSM will be driving students. We will be staying in a gated mission compound run by Yugo Ministries.

TRIP BASICS

DEPARTURE & RETURN TIMES

  • Sunday 6 am from Venture // Sunday will be an all-day travel day. We will arrive in Ensenada late in the evening)

  • Friday 6 pm back at Venture

TRIP PROJECT & SCHEDULE

We’re building a house. Yep, in 5 days, we’re going to go from a slab of concrete in a field to a fully functioning house. This house will home a family from Ensenada who would otherwise be unable to afford housing.

Besides building a house, this trip is also an awesome opportunity for students to get a broader perspective on life outside of the United States.

We will be staying at Yugo Ministry’s Ensenada’s Campus. They’ll provide a safe home base, meals, and the needed tools & instructions for the build. We know safety is a top priority for trips like these, and Yugo has decades of experience in making sure trips are safe. For more info on Yugo’s experience in hosting safe trips, check out their safety page.
